This delightful series tells the story of what happens when the animals, like many young children, don’t want to wash, eat, sleep, behave, share, go to school, take their medicine, get vaccinated or behave. Animal Farm, anti-utopian satire by George Orwell, published in One of Orwell’s finest works, it is a political fable based on the events of Russia’s Bolshevik revolution and the betrayal of the cause by Joseph book concerns a group of barnyard animals who overthrow and chase off their exploitative human masters and set up an egalitarian society of their own.

Great for kids ages 3+ (really, this is a cool book even for adults!) And for the younger set, try the DK Wild Animals (Touch and Feel) book. We all know that it's not possible to pet most of the animals at the zoo, so this book introduces younger children to what they might feel like if they were able to get up close. Fun for ages 1 - 4 years.   Must-Read Books Featuring Animals in the Title Liberty Hardy Books with animals in the title might seem like a bit of an obscure subject for a list, but we write these lists in order to share great books in the hopes they will find a new audience and more people to love them. These stories feature cats, bees, wolves, dogs, and even.

The Three Princes of Serendip is the English version of the story Peregrinaggio di tre giovani figliuoli del re di Serendippo published by Michele Tramezzino in Venice in Tramezzino claimed to have heard the story from one Cristoforo Armeno, who had translated the Persian fairy tale into Italian, adapting Book One of Amir Khusrau's Hasht-Bihisht of The BFG was written in The idea for the story had begun several years before, with a sentence scribbled in one of Roald Dahl's Ideas Books - exercise books he used to write down some of the thoughts that came to him and were sometimes later turned into stories. Just like The BFG.
